Holiday Public Safety and Security

Beginning on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, The Bed-Stuy Gateway BID will role out its Holiday Ambassadors Program.  Ambassadors will walk the district, six (6) days per week from 2-8 pm.  The purpose of this program is to offer public safety support to merchants throughout the holiday shopping season.  These Ambassadors are certified, trained and licensed security guards whose role it is to check in on each business in the district in an effort to provide additional BID SECURITY PRESENCE. We are hoping that this service will encourage businesses to stay opened later during the shopping season.
