Back to School Resource Fair

Last Saturday we hosted our third annual Back to School Resource Fair! Children and youth received free backpacks and school supplies, and parents watched cooking demonstrations put on by the Campaign Against Hunger. Our community partners who attended were ArtShack Brooklyn, SCO, Boy Scouts of America, Restoration Art, Uncommon Schools, CPP, Bright Star Prep, Fully Focused Studios, My Trybe, Community Board 3 and BSA-GNYC. There was yoga and dancing for children as well. We brought games – life sized Jenga and Connect 4. Thanks to our sponsors, New York Life, Modern MD, TD Bank, and the Campaign Against Hunger for helping us make this event happen!
